Directions for Youth Day at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center
The Youth Day events on 13th July will be held at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center, 555 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington DC.
The hotel for IEEE-NANO 2025 is the Renaissance Capital View
For those staying at the Renaissance Capital View, the best way to get to the Bloomberg Center is to take the Washington DC, METRO (subway system) from the Crystal City METRO station.
The Renaissance Capital View has a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes and will take guests to the Crystal City METRO Station (complimentary and courteous shuttle service to Crystal City METRO station and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA); Hours: 5 am – 11 pm daily). You can walk to the station from the hotel – this will take approximately 15 minutes.
At the Crystal City METRO Station, board the Yellow Line (going towards Mt. Vernon Square) and debark at the Archives Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Station (Green and Yellow Lines) which is a 4-minute walk from the Bloomberg Center.
You can use a credit card to ride the METRO or you can purchase a METRO card (which can be obtained from machines at a METRO Station) or you can use the METRO app on your phone. Fares should be a few USD each way.
At the Bloomberg Center, you will need to check-in with members of the local organizing committee and receive a badge to enter the facility and go to the meeting rooms. Enter through the main entrance on Pennsylvania Avenue. Meetings will be on the 10th floor. The reception will be on the terrace off the 9th floor.
To return to the hotel, you should get on the Yellow Line (going towards Huntington) and debark at Crystal City where you can catch the hotel shuttle.
