We welcome contributions describing the latest scientific and technological research and activities in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Authors should prepare a paper (4-6 pages) using the template in the IEEE style and submit it for review by March 1 March 10, 2025, via the online paper submission site.
All papers will be peer-reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. Accepted papers will be considered for the IEEE-NANO 2025 Best Paper Award and publication in IEEE Xplore.
How to Submit
Note: Papers should be submitted by a designated “Corresponding Author” with the steps below:
- Go to the Online Submission Site.
- Follow the link to “Submit a Contribution to NANO 2025” to the right of the NANO 2025 listing.
- Select the Type of Submission that you are interested in submitting.
- Fill in the information about “Title, Authors*, Keywords**, and Abstract”; and then continue to the next page.
- Upload your paper in a PDF, MS-Word, or Latex (Note: The main.tex file should be called root.tex)
*NOTE regarding PINs for PaperCept: “Authors” should be entered through their PINs and every author must have a PIN. You may use this link to search your or someone else’s PIN
- If you have submitted papers to prior NANO conferences: You should have your PIN. You can retrieve your or co-authors’ existing PIN or set/reset your PASSWORD in the PIN Wizard at the submission site.
- If you have never submitted papers to NANO conferences: You should set your PIN and PASSWORD in the PIN Wizard at the submission site. The same should be done for the authors without PINs.
Additional Notes:
- **Authors should select “Keywords”, which are the names of NTC Technical Committees (TC) when submitting a paper. The Technical Program Committee will handle the peer reviews of submitted papers and accepted papers will be assigned to the appropriate sessions based on the author’s application and program requirements.
- Only full papers (4-6 pages) in IEEE style must be submitted on or before March 1, 2025. Accepted full papers will be considered for the IEEE-NANO 2025 Best Paper Award and will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.
- There are extra page charges over 6 pages (see the Registration Site).
Notification of Acceptance
Notification of acceptance will be sent by April 5, 2025 (tentative) to the authors’ emails.
Final Paper Submission
Final papers in a PDF, MS-Word, or Latex must be submitted on or before May 15, 2025 with revisions/updates based on review comments.
Paper Publications
- IEEE Xplore: Accepted full papers for IEEE-NANO 25 will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting & Indexing (A&I) databases. The full paper must contain original results, maybe complementary to previous articles. If you want to use published figures, you must have permission from the publisher.
NOTE: Only full papers (4 to 6 pages) submitted by March 1 March 10, 2025, will be considered for inclusion in IEEE Xplore with their acceptance!
About IEEE Xplore
- IEEE Xplore is the flagship digital platform for discovery and access to scientific and technical content published by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and its publishing partners.
- IEEE Xplore contains more than 6 million documents and other materials from some of the world’s most cited publications in electrical engineering, nanotechnology, and related sciences.
- IEEE Xplore provides outstanding visibility for your research. Make sure to cite relevant references that form the foundation of your study. Proper citations not only aid readers in understanding your paper but also acknowledge the authors of the cited references appropriately. Additionally, citing relevant articles can attract more views and downloads to your paper. Conversely, avoid citing papers that are unrelated to your work.
- IEEE Xplore will assign a DOI to your publication, and it will be indexed in SCOPUS, ORCID, and WoS.
- Special Issues/Sections: Papers presented at IEEE-NANO 2025 will be selected to be considered for publication in special sections of the following peer-reviewed journals:
>> IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology (IF 2.1)
>> IEEE Transactions on NanoBioscience (IF 3.7)
>> IEEE Open Journal of Nanotechnology (IF 1.8)
